Ebony Trotter, MS,
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

I am a registered clinical mental health intern with the state of Florida. I have obtained a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology. I have worked with a variety of populations including adolescents, children, individuals, couples, families, military, substance abuse, and groups. Theoretical orientations utilized are but are not limited to Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution- Focused Therapy. My goal is to help clients become the best version of themselves by equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to be ready and present to deal with moments in life as they arise. You are the biggest and most important part of your mental health journey because it requires you to be open to the therapeutic process. It is not always easy to get help, but it is strong to realize sometimes in life, we need each other. It is helpful to have a safe space to process our feelings, thoughts, and emotions. It is also beneficial to be able to look at things in a different way or through a different lens and that is what I aim to provide in a therapy session.
