Ashley Doolin Brown, MS, LMHC-S

Ashley Brown is a native of Fort Walton Beach and lives in the area with her husband and son, Jackson.  Ashley is licensed in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor and is the Director of Mental Health at Beyond Expectations, Inc.  As a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida, she is presently engaged in the supervision of several interns seeking to become Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Ashley earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Troy University, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of West Florida.  Ashley has over 15 years experience and is dedicated to working with children, adolescents, couples and families.  She also enjoys working with children on the Autism Spectrum and those with behavioral or transitional difficulties.  Ashley has completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.  As a military spouse, Ashley has a passion for working with our military and their families through daily stressors, deployments, and reintegration.  Ashley has experience working with individuals on their journey through gastric by-pass surgery or weight loss struggles.  In addition to counseling, she is certified to administer the ADOS-2 Assessment, which is the gold standard for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Aimee Garcia, MS, LMHC

Aimee Garcia is an LMHC in Florida. Aimee graduated with a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and counseling from Troy University, with an undergraduate in Psychology from the University of West Florida.  Aimee uses a variety of approaches to assist clients in a positive, strength based manner dependent on the individual’s needs.  Aimee utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy and psychoeducation extensively.  Aimee has experience providing individual, couple, group, and family counseling to youth and adults. She has worked with issues such as: Communication Barriers, Rehabilitative Services, Domestic Violence, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Mood Disorders, Grief and Loss, Child Abuse and Neglect, Behavioral Problems and Stress Management.

Lori Manning, MS, LMHC

Lori Manning is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at Beyond Expectations. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. Lori has experience counseling individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD-related challenges, abuse, and neurological disorders. She strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for clients, while promoting a safe place for healing without judgement. Lori utilizes play therapy, CBT, family therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to suit individual needs. Her goal is to help children and teens reach their highest potential and to help families live more harmonious and happier lives together.

Ashley Wildrick, MS, LMHC

Ashley Wildrick is licensed in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor. She earned her Master's degree in Counseling at Webster University in 2015 and her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Human Services through Drury University. Ashley is a military spouse who moved to Florida with her husband and three children in 2023. She has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavior problems, adjustment disorder, trauma, communication difficulties, and daily stressors. Ashley establishes a therapeutic relationship to help facilitate effective counseling and provides compassion, empathy, and support during difficult times. She uses a variety of techniques and psychoeducation to assist in meeting the client's needs. 

Catherine Gonzalez, MS, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Catherine Gonzalez is a first-generation Mexican American, South Texas native. She is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern within the State of Florida at Beyond Expectations and has lived in the Okaloosa/Santa Rosa County area since May 2019. She obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University and has an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Catherine has experience working with adults, children and families of diverse backgrounds. She has worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, abuse and other neurological disorders. Catherine works diligently to promote a safe and judgment-free environment for her clients and meet everyone’s individual needs as they reach their personal goals. She utilizes techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Client Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Group Therapy and Mindfulness based approach. Catherine is fluent in English and Spanish and one of her goals is that she hopes to expand her demographic and offer services into the Latino community.
